American Gladiators & Biggest Loser

Jan 25, 2008 in Fitness

Two of my favorite tv shows this season are American Gladiators & Biggest Loser!!

I use to love the original Gladiators, and I am so glad it is just as cheesy as it used to be. Of course the “puny” contestants could still whip my rear end so I have no right to talk, but you won’t catch me trying out for the show.

I also really enjoy watching The Biggest Loser!! I am a little disappointed with how the couples game is playing out. It is not quite the same with the trainers not having a vested interest in certain players. Also it is taking longer for alliances to start up within the groups since they already had someone they could count on.

Of course what does it say about me that these are 2 of my favorite shows!! Stayed tuned and we’ll see how it goes for both of these shows this season.

Recently a friend sent me the url for a fractal art contest, as he knows I am fasinated by the artform. http://www.fractalartcontests.com/2007/winners.php
I wanted to share all of these great images with others who are amazed with what can be done with fractals.

Circle of Trust Fractal Art
The particular piece above titled “Circle of Trust” is by an artist named Cynthia Pedrosa. It was one of my favorites from the contest, though there were so many it was hard to choose the one to place here.
If you are interested in fractal art, subscribe to my feed, as it will be a usual subject around here.

Jumping on the Blog Bandwagon

Jan 13, 2008 in Uncategorized

Well, it is official!
I have jumped on the blogging bandwagon and joined the crowd.
Now as long as the crowd does not decide to jump off the cliff I should be doing good.

I have no real plan for this blog other than talk about the things I know and wish I knew. There will be a little bit of everything from fun, family, food, fotography, fitness, and maybe some more f words I can think of them.

I hope you enjoy; and please feel free to drop in and give any comments, advice, or even some needed criticism.
