Saturday was the Japanese Kite Festival at the Japanese Gardens, and I was all looking forward to taking pictures at the event. Of course it rained and only a couple of brave souls were actually flying kites. I did snap a couple of pics in the garden, but not really anything good. It was too cold to try and get get ones since my hands were frozen. This is a decent one of the tea house.

I am setting up my 35mm film scanning site right now. I have no idea how it will go, but I would like to at least make enough cash to pay for my scanner. I have been wanting a nice Nikon scanner for some time since I still prefer slide film over digital images. But if you shoot slide you need a way to do something with them once you get them processed.
I will be totally set up and ready to do custom high resolution scans as well as bulk 35mm scans to DVD. Wish me luck!

Today is selection Sunday for the NCAA tournamet!! Woohoo!!
Though my alma mater is nowhere in sight, we have had quite a drought since our last sweet 16 appearance. Though we canned the coach so hopefully in the next few years we will be on the upswing and be in the dance again!
What about you? Will your fav team or alma mater be dancing this year?
Any guesses on who will go all the way?
