CommentLuv Plugin Added To The Blog

| CommentLuv
I took the plunge and went from a do follow blog to a commentluv based site. I like this plugin since it will give readers not only a chance to comment on my post but we can get a snippet of their latest post as well. This is a interesting way to find new bloggers that have some good stuff on their site.
So feel free to comment on my site and get that link back to you! Of course keep it on topic and blatant spamming will just not be tolerated.
If you want this plugin for your blog get it at http://www.commentluv.com/download/.

It’s looking good here, if you add this to your style sheet then it will be more clear below the comment text area.

This is a great plugin since it allows you to see the commentors last post. I also see you have Keyword luv which is another great plugin!

Out of all the WordPress plug-in that we’ve been using, KeywordLuv is the very best. It attracts more traffic and therefore more income $$$$.

Yeah I love this plugin too. It’s very well thought-out and benefits both the blog owner and the commenters.

I love commentluv and it’s a great way to encourage people to visit your blog and make comments. I also suggest adding the plug in that removes the ‘no follow’ tag that wordpress adds into the code in the comments section or else commentluv loses some of it’s value.

Thanks for sharing - having tried and implemented them,I think both commentluv and keywordluv are great for bloggers and commenters - Its also a great way to improve your brand too. The nofollow attribute still serves as an anchor to your site with no Search benefits.

I’ve been using Comment Luv and Keyword Luv and appreciate what they do for my blogging.

I’ve been using the two, KeywordLuv and CommentLuv in unison but they’ve created a greater traffic of spammer. What can be done about that?

I feel really happy with using CommentLuv plugin as I have increased the traffic to my blogs by early three times. More over, my visitors are coming back all the time.

Do follow and comment luv are win win scenarios for the blogger and poster. I know there are drawbacks due to spam but hopefully the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

This is a great tool for bloggers…all thou it gets difficult to find such blogs that have keywordluv or commentluv enabled. I installed this on my blog and I ended up getting a lot more spam then I wanted. But it is a great way to generate backlinks!

Have you seen any raise in amount of spam after taking this decision?
August 27th, 2009 at 4:10 pm
Yes, I have seen an increase in spam but the filters are doing a great job of catching them. I also have an increase in legitimate comments (though I know they are wanting a link too), as well as an increase in adsense revenue.

Hope you don’t mind me going a little off topic, but I was curious as to what extent you have found keywordluv has helped you get more comments…and if they are good comments or just thank you for the post type comments. I found when using this plugin I got a whole heap of “Thanks” type rubbish which didn’t add to my blog at all…it sure did get a lot more people making comments though!
August 30th, 2009 at 6:49 am
Well, it’s a difficult job to moderate blogs since you’ve to take spam out from legitimate comments. Well everyone wants a link and the blogger wants constructive comment to their site and readers. I understand it’s a bit tough but it’s win-win for everyone in my opinion. And by enabling CommentLuv and seeing the commentators latest post, maybe you can get some ideas for your next articles if they’re from the same field.

It is a mix. There is pure junk, but spam filters grab that. There are some off topic and then there is some honest attempts at discussion.

I think that installing Dofollow,CommentLuv and KeywordLuv plugins is the ultimate way to share some link love to your visitors, unfortunately these plugins is a spam invitation for many and i don’t talk about bots,I’m talking about real humans that don’t even take the time to read the post and leave garbage comments like “nice article” “great post”.
Its sad and i hope we can find a way to fix that.
Cheers!

This RAP (reader appreciation plug-in) is a great plug-in for bloggers. Sharing the love and providing a way to thank your readers.
September 25th, 2009 at 10:30 pm
While I like the plugin, it will lead to more spammers coming in to your site. I don’t know… do you still think its a good idea?
October 2nd, 2009 at 6:21 pm
Excellent post! Where can I find your RSS feed? Do you twitter?
October 15th, 2009 at 8:14 pm
I’m just learning about keywordluv and commentluv. I do not think I can use them on my blog because it is a blogspot blog but I have removed nofollow. Seems to be the best that I can do at the moment.

Gr8!!!!!!!!! Commentluv and Keywordluv are like blood and flesh
They get along with each other in a great manner. I am glad that I have them in my blog. Together we will make this do follow movement a space without bots and spam. My akismet is doing extra hours to keep them at bay. Wish you all the best.

KeywordLuv absolutely gets conversations going and keeps them going. And it is such a nice win for both the blogger and the visitor. I use it on several of my sites as well.

Thanks for such a generous commenting policy. I wish more sites offered this, but sadly they don’t. These plugins really help to build a community and encourage interaction.

Hopefully people do not drive you crazy with spam. Your comments look pretty clean though. I am considering using it on my blog.

I recently discovered KeywordLuv and find it is an excellent way to get quality content added on a fairly regular basis. It is a win-win for both parties. With Google using backlinks as a part of their ranking method KeywordLuv has become a very important plugin.
