These could come in real handy for campers to keep their kids safe should they wander off from camp.

These devices are a investment in their child every parent should make. Being able to locate them in that scary moment when you think they are lost makes it all worthwhile.

When parents decide to go camping or go to an attraction park such as Six Flags or Disneyland, the one thing they want to avoid is to look for their kids. Within a fraction of second, you can lose sight of your children and fear the worst for them. Not knowing where there are and weather something happened to them is definitely an uncomfortable feeling you want to avoid. With the alert mode available with the Locator Plus, you can even be alerted if your child is out of the safety zone.

I had one empty panicked moment two years ago where I didn't know where my son was.

He just sort of disappeared out of the back yard.

As it turned out, the guy next door just "borrowed" him for a second to play him a song on his guitar. (He lifted my son over the fence by using a ladder from the other side.)

I'm not sure if that was kidnap or not, but he didn't do it again.
