I am already so tired of winter!! Luckily I have an amazing spring planned and that includes the opportunity to have the biggest garden I have ever planned. Since many seed companies encourages you to make your orders early gardners such as myself are planning what they want now.
This year I am trying the Seed Saver Exchange for the first time. It seems that many of the started plants I was getting locally were as boring and bland as the food at the grocery store. The selection of heirloom seeds available at SSE is amazing and I am looking forward to trying new versions of some of my old favorites.

I cannot wait to get to the garden this year as well. This looks like a great source for seeds I will download their catalog.

I always get my seeds from Gurneys. They usually have what I want. I do not try the exotic stuff.

For us this summer was a lot better than last, we were plagued with slugs. They ate more veg than we did. Still I started using Nemaslugs, these worked brilliantly.

It never fails for me each year there is one particular item that does really well. Last year it was squash this year it was green peppers.
